Time To REFRESH;  THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE IS CHANGE

About 111 days ago I hit refresh. I decided it was time for a major change. And I told myself the only way to change was change.

Oh sure I was in ‘okay’ health and shape, (which is code for heh, I’m 48 I can be a little soft, fat and slightly larger than I was last year)  but I knew I was growing comfortable in a ever increasing sedentary way and the athlete within was conflicted. Was I too just accept I was growing older and allow  gravity to  takeover  my body or fight back? And then there was that birthday. Yes, that one, in January.

And so I hit REFRESH, and threw myself into a new fitness regime, that is transforming my body,  mind and syncs  perfectly with my spirit; hot power yoga.

When I first visited the hot room all I wanted to do was run out, it wasn’t comfortable; 104-106 degrees , plus my body temp, plus up and down, up and down. I remember staring at my 21 year old daughter at the end of that first  class thinking about what torture might be due her, for inviting me to this insanity.

And then the next day, I went back, I was curious. And then again, later that week I was back in class.  Before I knew it my daughter was back at college and I was driving to hot power yoga alone.

Sometimes the only way to change is change.

What do you need to  stop doing?  What isn’t working right now? What needs refreshed, a do-over, a re-start in your life? No, it’s not comfortable facing what isn’t working. But it’s the only way you will ever change it.

Today is my 111th day of hot yoga-in a row. I know, I’m a tad excessive; but that’s what you like about me- right?

Go ahead decide; cut off the possibilities, start, ask someone who believes in you to encourage and support you and then throw yourself into doing, learning and becoming the change you desire.

The only way to change is CHANGE.

“Pam asks precise, insightful questions, she’s able to reflect back to you what you’re saying and that forces you to really evaluate your own ideas, to really know what you believe and to shape a vision you can really believe in. That’s the impact Pam delivers. Pam is a “discovery catalyst” or “clarity catalyst.”

“Great to work with Pam. She helped us launch our Handyman/General contracting company in 2007 and helped us survive the recession and excel where others have failed. Using a lot of what we learned from Pam, we hit the $1 million total gross revenue mark since inception in less than 2 years. “

“We hired Pam to design a communications and client service plan for our Investment services firm. In four months Pam energized our business. At a time that our industry is in disarray we’re growing and having fun again.”
