Becoming the observer. For me to step into the role of the observer I have to up my level of awareness and turn down the ego and emotional attachment. I don’t mean you can’t feel when you observe only that for me observing is an intentional act where I engage the frontal lobe of my brain and focus. I show up. I’m not automatically responding to the emotions or victim of my brain. I’m in the process of creating a new mind. The mind of the observer. Less ego, less attachment means more awareness for me.
